| Prof. Ning SunNankai University, China Ning Sun is a Professor and PhD supervisor at the College of Artificial Intelligence, Nankai University. He is a national “Four‑Qing” talent, IEEE Senior Member, JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Postdoctoral Fellow for Foreign Researchers, and a recipient of the Hundred Young Academic Leaders Program of Nankai University. He received his B.S. from Wuhan University in 2009 and Ph.D. from Nankai University in 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Yongchun Fang. His research focuses on intelligent control and applications for underactuated robots (land/ship‑mounted cranes), pneumatic artificial muscle robots and special industrial robots. | Prof. Chun Sing LaiTianjin University, China Chun Sing Lai is a Distinguished Young Professor and PhD supervisor at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (Overseas). He received his BEng (First‑Class Honours) from Brunel University London and D.Phil. from the University of Oxford. Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, then as Tenured Assistant Professor and Tenured Associate Professor at Brunel University London. His research interests cover power market, demand‑side management, transport electrification, optimal control of microgrids and techno‑economic analysis of energy systems. He has led NSFC Overseas Distinguished Young Project, NSFC Youth Project and multiple UKRI & industrial‑funded projects. He has authored one Wiley‑IEEE Press monograph and published multiple Web‑of‑Science highly‑cited papers. He is an IEEE Senior Member, CEng (Chartered Engineer) and FHEA (Fellow of Advance HE). Currently he serves as Senior Editor of *IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics*, Associate Editor for several IEEE Transactions journals, and Co‑Chair of the IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Intelligent Power and Energy Systems.
